Bengaluru-Based Pet Healthcare Startup Plans Rapid Hospital Expansion and 30-Minute At-Home Vet Services.

Saga Legal has advised pet healthcare startup Dr. Doodley on its $3.3 million (₹30 crore) pre-Series A fundraise, comprising a mix of equity and debt.
The investment round was led by V3 Ventures, with participation from Campus Fund, Thackersey Family Office, and a group of angel investors.

Saga Legal’s transaction team was led by Partner Neeraj Vyas, and included Senior Associate Ayush Maheshwari, along with Associates Mehak Chadha and Cyril Scaria Chacko.
Founded in Bengaluru, Dr. Doodley delivers hospital-level veterinary services directly at home, offering advanced treatments with a focus on compassionate and convenient pet care. With the fresh capital infusion, the startup plans to expand its physical footprint significantly over the next 12 months.

The company aims to scale to seven hospitals by opening four new facilities in Bellandur, Indiranagar, Rajajinagar and North Bengaluru. During this period, Dr. Doodley expects to treat more than 1,00,000 pets and grow its veterinary team to over 100 doctors.
In addition, the startup plans to introduce 30-minute vet-at-home services and roll out a flat ₹10,000 pricing model for surgeries across procedures, seeking to bring pricing transparency and accessibility to pet healthcare services.
