Jyoti Sagar Associates Acts on 5paisa Capital Fundraise: Mumbai: 5paisa Capital Limited has successfully raised ₹468.823 crore through a rights issue, with legal advisory support from JSA Advocates & Solicitors. The capital raise is aimed at strengthening the company’s financial base and supporting its growth in India’s rapidly evolving digital financial services sector.
As part of the offering, the company issued 15,627,419 equity shares to eligible shareholders, enabling it to mobilise fresh funds while maintaining proportional ownership for existing investors.
Strengthening Capital for Expansion
The rights issue structure allows shareholders to subscribe to additional equity in line with their current holdings, ensuring continued alignment while infusing new capital into the business. The ₹468 crore fundraise is expected to support 5paisa Capital Limited in scaling its technology-driven platform and expanding its suite of services.
Operating as a digital-first brokerage, the company offers a wide range of financial products, including equities trading, futures and options, currency and commodity derivatives, as well as mutual fund and IPO distribution.
